Hello my name is Amy and I love animals..I have worked in the pet industry for over 11 years, I started my grooming journey 9 year ago finally opening my own business 4paws grooming 5 years ago.  In this time I have gained so much experience as a groomer receiving qualifications in nutrition, canine first aid, cat grooming and reiki. 

My aim has always been to cultivate a calm salon where your pets can truly relax.  To create a stress free environment I work on a one to one basis with no crates.  I find this gives your pet time to explore and play which helps them build a trusting relationship with me and relate to grooming in a positive way.

I only use positive reinforcement and will never force an animal into any situation they are not comfortable with.  This means sometimes the process may need to be adjusted such as coming for just a brush out or more baths in-between grooms to build their confidence and reintroduce grooming in a positive way. But this will always be discussed with you when booking you're appointment.
